Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions Postdoctoral Fellowships (MSCA-PF)

The Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3 is delighted to support the postdoctoral researchers wishing to apply for a MSCA European PF at UJML as future host institution:

The goal of this program is to enhance the creative and innovative potential of experienced researchers wishing to diversify their individual skills through training and advanced international and intersectoral mobility.

The MSCA Postdoctoral Fellowships grant allows a research laboratory to welcome a postdoctoral fellow under the supervision of a professor (the supervisor) for a duration of one to two years. The project must be a co-construction between the international postdoctoral researcher and the supervisor.

There are two types of Individual Fellowships:

• European Postdoctoral Fellowships (individual grants for researchers coming to or moving within Europe);
• Global Postdoctoral Fellowships (individual grants for researchers going to a Third Country, with a return phase in Europe).

If your application is selected by a Université Jean Moulin Lyon 3’s Supervisor, the next step will be to apply jointly with your Supervisor and the European Project Manager of Lyon 3 for the MSCA-PF call 2026 which opens on April, 9th.

Supported fellows must be:

• Postdoctoral researchers at the date of the call deadline, i.e. in a possession of a doctoral degree, defined as a successfully defended doctoral thesis, even if the doctoral degree has yet to be awarded.
• Researchers may be of any nationality. Recruited researchers must comply with the following mobility rule: the applicant should not have studied or worked in France (for the European PF) or in the Third country (for the Global PF) for more than 12 months between September 2023 and September 2026.
• At the call deadline, supported researchers must have a maximum of 8 years full-time equivalent experience in research, measured from the date that the researcher was in a possession of a doctoral degree. In the event of a period during which the candidate has interrupted their research career, the period of 8 years shall be extended for the time, when the candidate has not been employed as a researcher (it is counted until the last day of the tender).
